How to watch Maple Leafs games without cable

To watch Maple Leafs games in Canada this season you need two English regional channels, Sportsnet Ontario and TSN4, because the Leafs’ regional rights are split between them. Nationally televised nights are on Sportsnet, and French national broadcasts are on TVA Sports. Diablos IPTV carries every one of those channels on every plan, together with the rest of the TSN and Sportsnet feeds. The only Leafs games you can’t get through us are the Prime Video Wednesday games, which stream only.

  • Sportsnet Ontario
  • TSN4
  • National Sportsnet
  • TVA Sports in French
  • 7-day catch-up

What channel are Leafs games on?

Every Leafs broadcast falls into one of four buckets. Find the bucket and you know where to look in the guide.

If you still look for hockey on CBC out of habit, change that habit. On June 16, 2026 CBC confirmed it would no longer sublicense NHL coverage from Rogers, so national English hockey now lives on Sportsnet, under a Rogers deal that runs through 2037-38. RDS’s regional French rights cover the Canadiens and the Senators, so French Leafs broadcasts come from TVA Sports’ national package.

The regional split

Sportsnet Ontario or TSN4 tonight?

Sportsnet Ontario

Rogers’ regional feed for Ontario. It carries its share of regional Leafs games. You will find it in the Canadian sports group with Sportsnet East, West and Pacific.

TSN4

Bell’s channel for its share of regional Leafs games. TSN4 is one of five TSN channels in the guide, so on a Leafs night on TSN, go straight to the number four.

Regional rights follow the team’s broadcast region, which for the Leafs is Ontario. On Diablos IPTV that region doesn’t change what you see: every TSN channel and every Sportsnet regional feed is in the guide on every plan. A Leafs fan who moved to Vancouver or Halifax still finds Sportsnet Ontario and TSN4 by name, right next to the local feeds. The full sports line-up is on our sports channels page.

Two-minute setup

Put the Leafs channels in your favourites

With 30,000+ channels in the list, a short favourites row is the quickest way to watch Maple Leafs games without scrolling at puck drop. In most player apps you highlight a channel and long-press OK (or open the channel options) to add it.

  1. Start with the regional pairAdd Sportsnet Ontario and TSN4 first. Most Leafs nights are on one of them.
  2. Add the national channelsAdd the Sportsnet feeds that carry national games, plus TVA Sports 1 if you like the French call.
  3. Add the overflow channelsWhen two games overlap, the second one often moves to a “2” channel such as TVA Sports 2, or to another Sportsnet regional feed. Pin those too.
  4. Check the clockSet the app’s time zone to where you live. Eastern is right for Ontario. A wrong setting shifts the whole guide by hours.

Limits

What this setup can’t do for Leafs fans

Prime Video Wednesdays are outside any TV guide. The national Wednesday-night package (27 games in English and French) is for Prime members and streams only. No TV channel carries it, so no IPTV guide can show it, ours included.

  • Commentary language is fixed by the broadcaster. Sportsnet and TSN are English; TVA Sports is French only. You pick the channel, and the channel decides the language.
  • Catch-up has a one-week window. A game older than 7 days drops off.
  • Your connection still counts. Plan on about 10 Mbps per HD stream and 25 Mbps per 4K stream, and use a wired connection for playoff nights if you can.
