Three hours behind

What time do games start in Vancouver?

Most Canadian broadcasts are announced in Eastern time, and Vancouver sits three hours behind it. A game billed for 7 pm Eastern is on your screen at 4 pm. Here is the quick conversion.

Listed start (Eastern)In Vancouver (Pacific)
1 pm10 am
4 pm1 pm
7 pm4 pm
8 pm5 pm
10 pm7 pm

Two practical points follow from that gap. First, set the time zone on your device or player app to Pacific. If it stays on Eastern, every row in the guide is shifted by three hours and the listings never match what is playing. Second, an early puck drop often lands during the workday. Supported channels keep 7 days of catch-up, so you can start the game from the opening faceoff once you are home.

Our WhatsApp support hours are 9 am to 11 pm Eastern, which is 6 am to 8 pm in Vancouver, every day of the week.

Local feeds

CTV Vancouver, Global BC and BC1

These are the British Columbia channels you will find by searching the guide for “BC” or “Vancouver”.

CTV Vancouver

The Bell Media station for the city. Bell retired the standalone CTV app on May 1, 2026 and moved its content to Crave, but the live channel carries on in our guide.

Global BC and Global News BC1

Corus runs both: Global BC as the local network feed and BC1 as the dedicated news channel. Global’s own app is being renamed StackTV, which has no effect on the live channels here.

CBC and Citytv

CBC with all its regional feeds, plus Citytv from Rogers. CBC News Network and CTV News Channel sit in the national news group next to them.

French viewers get ICI Radio-Canada Télé, TVA, Noovo and RDI on every plan, and the channel list shows the rest of the Canadian, US and UK groups.

Sports

Canucks and BC Lions on IPTV

  • Canucks regional games are on Sportsnet, in the Sportsnet Pacific region. That feed covers British Columbia.
  • National English NHL games go to Rogers’ Sportsnet channels, under a deal that runs through 2037-38.
  • National French NHL games are on TVA Sports, which holds the national French package from 2026-27.
  • Prime Video Wednesdays are a separate 27-game national package for Prime members. It streams only, so it is in no guide, ours included.
  • BC Lions CFL games air on TSN in English and on RDS or RDS 2 in French.
  • Blue Jays games are on Sportsnet, and the Raptors are on TSN and Sportsnet.

Rights are tied to each team’s broadcast region, yet Diablos IPTV puts every TSN channel and every Sportsnet regional feed in the guide on every plan. A Vancouver viewer who follows the Leafs still opens Sportsnet Ontario by name. The only adjustment is the clock: that game starts three hours earlier for you. More on each league is on the sports page.

Setup

Setting up IPTV Vancouver service on Telus or Rogers internet

Diablos IPTV works on any internet provider. In Vancouver that usually means Telus or Rogers; Rogers bought Shaw in April 2023, so former Shaw customers are on Rogers now. We make no claim about either network. The steps below are the same on both.

  1. Measure the speed at the TVRun a speed test on the device you will watch on, near the TV. Plan on about 10 Mbps for each HD stream and 25 Mbps for each 4K stream.
  2. Pick the deviceFire TV Stick, an Android TV or Google TV box, a Samsung or LG smart TV, Apple TV or a phone all work. We tell you which player app fits.
  3. Ask for the trial on WhatsAppYou get a 24-hour login with every channel. No card, no payment.
  4. Set Pacific timeChange the time zone in the device or app before you open the guide.
  5. Save your favouritesSportsnet Pacific, the national Sportsnet channels, TSN, CTV Vancouver, Global BC and BC1 in one list.

Wi-Fi in a far bedroom is the usual cause of buffering. If the speed test is weak there, run Ethernet to the box or move the router closer. Our internet speed guide covers this in more depth, and the device page has setup steps.

Limits

Things to know before you switch

Streaming-only shows stay in their apps. Crave originals, TOU.TV Extra exclusives and Prime Video’s Wednesday NHL games have no TV channel, so they are not in the guide.

Catch-up is seven days. Anything older than a week leaves the archive.

Audio follows the broadcaster. TSN and Sportsnet are English; RDS and TVA Sports are French only.

Some TV apps charge their own fee. Smart IPTV costs a one-time €5.49 per TV, paid to its developer and not to us.
