How we write and check this site

Every guide on diablosiptv.ca is checked against an official source before it goes live, and checked again when that source changes. This page lists the sources we rely on, the steps a page goes through, the things we refuse to publish and how to report a mistake. If a fact on this site is wrong, message us and we will fix it.

Who is behind it

Who writes and reviews the pages

The site is run by the Diablos IPTV Team, the same people who take orders and answer support messages on WhatsApp. That matters for two reasons. The questions customers send us every day decide which guides we write, and the setup steps on this site are the ones our support chat sends after an order. When a guide disagrees with what support tells customers, the guide is what gets corrected.

We do not hire outside reviewers, and no page on this site is sponsored. There are no affiliate links. You can read more about the business itself on our About page.

Sources

Where our facts come from

We use primary sources, meaning the organisation that actually decides the thing we are writing about. Secondary write-ups are a starting point at most.

TopicSource we check
TV rules and the basic-package price capThe CRTC, Canada’s broadcast regulator
Internet speed targetsThe CRTC’s broadband objective and the internet providers’ own plan pages
Which channel carries which gamesOfficial announcements from the broadcasters and the leagues
Device menus, models and requirementsSupport pages from the device makers: Amazon, Samsung, LG, Google and Apple
Player-app prices and availabilityThe app’s listing in the official store, or the developer’s own website
Our plans, prices, trial and support hoursOur own price list and support records, the same figures used at checkout

When a figure changes often, such as an app’s activation fee, we say where it comes from so you can check it yourself before you pay.

The process

What happens before a page goes live

  1. We start from a real question. Most guides begin with something customers keep asking us, like why the TV guide shows the wrong times or which app works on an older Samsung.
  2. Every fact gets a source. Prices, dates, model names and channel details are traced to the official source and the date we read it. Anything we cannot trace is left out.
  3. Steps are checked against what support sends. Setup instructions must match the ones our WhatsApp team gives customers for the same device.
  4. Limits are written down. If something will not work, such as content that only streams inside another company’s app, the page says so plainly.
  5. A final read for accuracy. We re-check prices, dates, plan details and the 30,000+ channel figure on the day the page is published.

Dates

What the “Updated” date means

The date under each page title changes only when the content changes: a new fact, a corrected step, a price change or a new screenshot. We do not re-date pages to make them look fresh. Device and app guides are reviewed whenever a maker changes a menu or an app leaves a store, because those are the changes that break setup instructions.

Our limits

What our editorial policy rules out

  • Reviews, star ratings, testimonials or customer counts we cannot verify
  • Statistics without a source, or “we tested” claims without a real test behind them
  • Advice on getting around blocking, blackouts or regional restrictions
  • Claims about other IPTV providers or comparisons that name them

Some of these rules cost us clicks. We keep them because a guide is only useful if you can trust every line of it.

Corrections
