Apps are made by independent developers. If an app charges, you pay its developer directly, and the fee is separate from your Diablos IPTV plan.

A warning about IPTV Smarters
IPTV Smarters Pro used to be one of the most common answers to “which app?”. Two things have changed. On Samsung, some 2024 and later models no longer list IPTV Smarters Pro in the store, as reported on the Samsung Community in August 2024. And the IPTV Smarters developer site, iptvsmarters.com, is offline, while look-alike download sites exist.
Because you can’t tell a genuine file from a copy on those sites, we don’t send anyone to download Smarters APKs, and we suggest you don’t either. The apps above cover every device we support.
Fire TV
Installing an app that isn’t in the Fire TV store
Some player apps aren’t in the Amazon Appstore. For those, Fire TV needs one setting changed before you can install them with the Downloader app.

Honest limits
What a player app won’t change
- The channel list. An app plays what your subscription includes. A different app shows the same channels.
- Streaming-only content. Prime Video’s Wednesday NHL games, Crave originals and TOU.TV Extra exclusives have no TV channel, so no player app shows them.
- The commentary language. Audio follows the broadcaster: RDS and TVA Sports are French only.
- A weak connection. No app fixes Wi-Fi that can’t reach the TV. Plan on about 10 Mbps per HD stream and 25 Mbps per 4K stream.
- Catch-up beyond 7 days. The archive keeps 7 days on supported channels, whatever app you use.
