IPTV FAQ: straight answers

There are 16 plans in Canadian dollars, tax included. On one device: $18 for 1 month, $28 for 3 months, $48 for 6 months and $78 for 12 months, which is $6.50 a month. Two devices run from $28 to $128 a year, three from $38 to $178, and four from $48 to $198. There is no setup fee and no equipment to rent. Every plan is listed on the pricing page.

It is the number of screens that can stream at the same time. A 2-device plan lets two screens play at once, for example the living room TV and a tablet. Every plan has the same channels and features; only the number of simultaneous screens changes. Each plan has one login, and using it on more screens at once than the plan allows can get it suspended.

You can pay by Interac e-Transfer, card or PayPal. We send the details or a payment link on WhatsApp. Your login goes out as soon as the payment clears: within minutes for Interac and card during support hours, and instantly for PayPal.

No. Plans never renew on their own, so nothing is charged when yours ends. If you want to keep watching, message us and order the next plan.

Ask on WhatsApp. We set up a 24-hour trial of the full service, every channel and feature, with no card or payment. If the trial fails for a technical reason, such as an app that won’t install, support can extend it or give you a second trial.

Every paid plan, from 1 to 4 devices and from 1 to 12 months, is refundable in full within 30 days of payment, for any reason. Ask on WhatsApp with your order details. We issue the refund within 2 business days to the method you paid with: Interac is sent the same day, card refunds take 3 to 5 business days to appear, and PayPal is instant. After 30 days, remaining time is not refunded, with two exceptions listed in the next answer.

If we confirm an outage on our side lasting more than 24 continuous hours, your plan is extended by the length of the outage. If we ever discontinue the service, the unused part of your plan is refunded pro rata. Please contact us before opening a chargeback; a chargeback without contact suspends the login while it is investigated.

CBC with all regional feeds, CTV (Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Atlantic and more), Global, Citytv, CHCH Hamilton, OMNI 1 and 2, APTN, the news channels (CBC News Network, CTV News Channel, CP24, BNN Bloomberg, CPAC) and entertainment channels such as Showcase, W Network, HGTV Canada and YTV. Yes, on every plan: ICI Radio-Canada Télé, TVA, Noovo, Télé-Québec, LCN, RDI, Super Écran, Canal D, Canal Vie and Séries Plus, plus RDS, RDS 2, RDS Info and TVA Sports 1 to 3. Audio follows the broadcaster, so RDS and TVA Sports are in French only.

For 2026-27, TVA Sports holds the national French package under a 12-year sublicence signed on September 3, 2026: up to 350 regular-season games including 32 Canadiens games, every Canadiens playoff game, the conference finals and the Stanley Cup Final. RDS keeps 45 regional Canadiens regular-season games in French. When two games overlap, check RDS 2 or TVA Sports 2.

The Wednesday-night national package (27 games, in English and French) belongs to Prime Video and is for Prime members. Those games stream only on Prime Video and are not on any TV channel, so they are not in our guide. The same goes for Crave originals and TOU.TV Extra exclusives.

Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube; Android TV and Google TV boxes such as Chromecast with Google TV and NVIDIA Shield; Samsung (2015 and later) and LG smart TVs through a player app from the TV’s store; Apple TV, iPhone and iPad through App Store player apps; Android phones and tablets; Windows and Mac computers; and MAG and Formuler boxes.

On Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, TiviMate is a good fit. On Samsung and LG, the options include Smart IPTV, IBO Player and SET IPTV. We tell you which one fits your device when you order. Smart IPTV costs a one-time €5.49 per TV, and IBO Player and SET IPTV give a 7-day trial before asking for activation per device. Those fees go to the app developer, not to us. Some 2024 and later Samsung models no longer list IPTV Smarters Pro, and we don’t recommend downloading Smarters files from other sites, since look-alike download sites exist.

We recommend about 10 Mbps for each HD stream and 25 Mbps for each 4K stream. Two HD screens at once means about 20 Mbps. A wired Ethernet connection is more stable than Wi-Fi.

Start with your connection. Check your speed against the figures above, close other heavy downloads, and try a wired Ethernet cable, which is more stable than Wi-Fi. If it still buffers, send us your device, app and a screenshot on WhatsApp and we look at it with you.

The time zone on your device or player app doesn’t match where you are. Set it correctly, Eastern for Québec and Ontario, and the guide lines up with the live broadcast.

When two games air at the same time, the second often goes to an overflow channel: RDS 2, TVA Sports 2 or a Sportsnet regional feed (Ontario, East, West or Pacific). Add those channels to your favourites so they are one click away on busy nights.
